Early November Color
My favorite picture from this set is the one on the title of this blog. The red leaf with light shining through it reminded me of stained glass windows.
This is a journal of my life among the hills of the Ozarks in Northwest Arkansas. My passions include homesteading, outdoors, and herbs, ginseng, horses, photography, craft and art, and gardening... not necessarily in that order. I am a writer, naturalist, and herbalist, and mother of 3. And in my work-weekdays, I am a metals analyst for an environmental laboratory in Bentonville, AR. Welcome to my life!

We've had some color, but certainly not what the Ozarks can be, this year.
My Dogwoods are just now dark red, and the forsynthia leaves are turning purple....way late.
