Spring Pictures

Finally got around to snapping a few frames. My camera battery went dead and my card was full before I finished, but a few raindrops were beginning to fall anyway, so I guess I was out long enough.

Here's a patch of bloodroot. The flowers are almost done already. They're one of the first things to bloom in spring:
Wild plum blossoms are in full swing:

This old rock wall still looks pretty wintry, but the moss is greening up on it a little more:

These little violets are so common, it's almost easy to overlook them:

The peaches are just beginning to bloom:

Excellent photos. 'love the colorful flowers, Why not move the old stone wall up to the present vicinity of your house?

Actually, I do plan to do that, but it's going to be pretty far down on the priority list when so many other rocks are on the ground between here and there, lol.

In a way, though, I hate to take them down because they were built by the hands of generations long gone.

Love the new head pic, Roxanne! The violet and the peach flowers are great too. Thank you for that! :)

Thanks Mari - that one was my favorite :) Maybe tomorrow I'll remember my camera and can get a few more pictures on my way out to work.
